The Founder's Greeting

“Hello, my name is Nancy Diane Buenaventura also known as “Ms. Diane” the Founder and Director of Little Social Minds. I would like to take some time and provide parents with a simple yet personal “about me”. I attended Touro College where I graduated in 2014 with a Dual Master's degree in General & Special Education from birth to 2nd grade. Upon graduation, I was afforded the opportunity to serve as the Educational Director for St. Peters in Brooklyn, New York from 2014 to 2016, I taught in both Private and Public Schools from 2016 to 2019. In 2020, I was blessed to give birth to my Twins and I opened a daycare in my home. I taught my kids baby signs, spanish, and even some yoga why not help the community and change education one little mind at a time.

I knew I wanted to be an educator from an early age. My parents say I used to sit all my younger cousins in our living room and give them homework. Every Christmas I would ask Santa for a chalkboard for the sole purpose of teaching my cousins. I still recall my favorite class trip at the of age 7 which was a trip to the teacher hobby store in my town. I am a firm believer that with education, love, and a well-balanced life all children will thrive.

My purpose in life is to teach; I was born to change the world through the minds of our little ones."
